Hi King Kong Promoters!

Please find attached your complete contest package. It includes the official rules, a questions and answers document (both previously supplied), the maintenance protocol for the Crusher, the scoresheets, scoresheet and payment instructions, and a waiver that you may wish to use.

RULES DOCUMENT – The rules document has not changed since the last time it was shared. I’m simply attaching it so that everything is together. Please ensure you read it completely prior to the event and contact me with any questions if anything is unclear.

CRUSHER MAINTENANCE PROTOCOL – The Crusher Maintenance Protocol document includes instructions that all promoters must follow in the week preceding the contest. Should you have any questions or concerns about these instructions, please contact Andrew Pantke directly (andrewwpantke@gmail.com).

SCORESHEETS AND INSTRUCTIONS – Two scoresheets are supplied: one for the youth division, and one for everyone else (open men, open women, masters men). If you aren’t running the youth division, there is no need to submit the youth scoresheet after the contest, but please confirm that this is the case (so that we don’t think you forgot to attach it).

Completed scoresheets are to be submitted to Andrew Pantke (andrewwpantke@gmail.com )and me (eroussin@rogers.com ) immediately following the contest (i.e. the same day). If we receive all the results by Saturday night, then we should be in a good position to post results Sunday afternoon/evening. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a timing guarantee, because we are dependent on all promoters submitting results accurately and on time.

Before you submit your venue’s results, please ensure you double-check all information. Please pay particular attention to the following:

Please supply the results electronically. Sending a photo of handwritten results creates added work for us and increases the chance for error. Also, please submit names in English characters.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS – Immediately after you submit the results for your venue, please send a PayPal payment in the amount of $10 USD per competitor (excluding the youth division). The PayPal payment must be sent to eroussin@rogers.com . If you need me to send you a PayPal invoice, I can do that as well. Canadian promoters can instead opt to send me an Interac e-transfer (in Canadian equivalent funds) to the same email address.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – If Andrew or I have any questions about your scoresheet, we will contact you. Please check your email and/or Messenger regularly between the time you submit results and the official results are posted, just in case. (Note that we aren’t expecting you to stay up all night).

In previous years a few small errors were detected after the results were posted requiring them to be recalculated and some of the standings were affected. We hope that this won’t happen this year, but please realize that despite best efforts, mistakes can still occur.

Please instruct competitors to not discuss or post results or videos until all venues are done, so as not to unfairly inform the attempt selections of competitors in western time zones. No one will be disqualified if this happens, but please communicate that this is simply in the interest of keeping things fair for everyone.

If you have any questions about anything, please do not hesitate to contact me BEFORE the contest date, because like you I will be quite busy on the 30th.

Good luck!

Eric Roussin
